The thing that’s special about the J-FM Band is the same thing that’s special about Christian radio.  It is a point of common interest between believers from different backgrounds.  In other words, it brings together Christians who otherwise might not have had any reason to get together.  Just like our listeners, the J-FM Band is made up of people associated with different churches.  These are the same people you hear on the radio DJ-ing, reading the weather, or adding songs to the playlist.  They also happen to have music as a hobby, and want to use that interest to help the ministry of The J-FM.  So please, download the three mp3s. (SEE BELOW) They’re free.  We hope you like them. If you want a song sheet, let us know and we’ll email you one. If you’d like to have a CD of the 7-song project (which includes the 3 downloads plus 4 other songs) we’re asking for a donation of $10 to the J-FM.  Please mail your check to:

We know we aren’t Delirious? or Sonic Flood.  And we aren’t trying to “get signed.”  We believe most Christian musicians are called to provide music to their own local communities of faith, and that’s what we’re doing.  And we think you should, too.

So we want to make your music available online as well... 

SONG SUBMISSION RULES

1. When you submit a song, you will be, in effect, giving that song away.  If it shows up on Third Day’s next album or people burn their own copies, don’t blame us.

2. We will publish ONLY: the songwriter’s name, song title, contact info, and mp3.  Nothing else.

3. This service is for worship music. That is, music intended for use in either youth or adult congregational worship.  Please don’t submit anything outside of this description. 

4. Please include a short note of recommendation from your pastor (via email) regarding the song you are submitting.

5. Only one song per pastor’s recommendation, per month.  After the song has been posted for 1 month, it will be removed.  You may then submit a different song  (your pastor may only vouch for 12 songs per year).

6. We will only accept mp3s emailed to: info@heartlandradio.org  Sorry, no CDs via snail mail.  If you’re not sure how to turn your song into an mp3, find the nearest high school student and have them show you.
